Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-11-03

sofalet is not released yet. These terms are short because the app is.

The app is provided as it is, without a warranty of any kind.
sofalet is a home screen for Android TV and Google TV. Its optional accessibility service makes the Home button open it, and its optional access to notifications and TV listings lets it show what is playing and what you were watching. You turn each of them on yourself, in the system’s settings, and you can turn it off there.
Wallpaper photos are Unsplash photos and are shown with their photographer’s credit. Weather data is from Open-Meteo (CC BY 4.0). Both stay under their own terms.
Modules are separate apps made by other people. sofalet only draws what an enabled module sends; what the module itself does is between you and its author.
The app needs no account. If you sign in so that a licence granted to your address is found, we keep that address and nothing about your TV’s contents; the privacy policy says what, and how to have it deleted.
